مجالسِ فروری — مارچ ۱۹۶۰

3 February 1960 (Thursday / 9 Sha'ban 1379 AH)

Topic: The Competence of Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Aisha

Hazrat said: 'Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Aisha — they are very powerful and extremely eloquent, and of the highest level in language.'

22 February 1960 (Thursday / 23 Sha'ban 1379 AH)

Topic: Qur'an's Effect — (Professor Qatil Sahib, i.e., Hafiz Qatil)

Qatil Sahib (Professor Hafiz Qatil) expressed to Hazrat that Sarkar had a very powerful effect on Qur'an recitation. Hazrat replied: 'You are saying well' — Hazrat said: 'My Qur'an is always entering into me — Qur'an is entering me deeply.'

"Central Asian Muslims' Thought" — Hazrat said: 'The Russians for the sake of the Central Asian Muslims — I would say: "Imam Bukhari has his place" and Baha'u'd-Din Naqshbandi's place of remaining — none of these — free — they became free... I say this all two things — my du'a of Imam Bukhari and Khwaja Naqshbandi — they are not visible to me — but something cannot be done by me — yet you cannot see it — who will cry for this? — for crying — Bukhari will come out — (this matter is complete) — it happened — In 1991 the Soviet Union broke up — the Muslim majority in regions like Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan became independent regions — Alhamdulillah.'

3 March 1960 (Thursday / 16 Sha'ban 1379 AH)

Topic: Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Aisha's Competence

Hazrat said: 'Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Aisha — are very powerful and of the highest level of eloquence — extremely articulate.'

Topic: Soldiers on Hypnotism (continued from earlier)

A soldier asked Hazrat: 'Hypnotism has effect on soldiers — does it serve the army?' He replied: 'Devotion to God — the argument against it is that the officer does not have an intention — the soldier does not have an intention.'

Topic: The Life of Bondage — Mi'raj of Life

'Life of Bondage' — Hazrat said: 'We keep you in the cage — we are free — we say "la ilaha" — I am a servant — (i.e. the awareness of tawhid) — "in the intoxication of tawhid I blow comfort" — I am used to it — I settle the worldly things and the discomforts that I do not like — let them! — it works too — they are even the young ones — in intoxication they remain — young people — where do they stay? — they want everything from the world — what is our world? — What purpose are you — something suited to your nature occurs — the heart is pleased — and you are pleased! — happiness also comes?'

Earlier, Hazrat said: 'Watakkal dhul-haqqa — he used to say — to the kafirs — he also went — they also went — gone — yet to kill — the effort was very much — what? everything cut — but from "nafs" — "nafs" (ego) not be inattentive — they do not restrain — Snake in the cold went — just a little warmer — the snake says "Phoos" (hisses).'

Topic: 'In Them is the Proof of Allah' — Qur'anic Verse

وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا

(Surah al-Ankabut 29:69) — 'And those who strive for Us — We will surely guide them to Our ways.' Hazrat said: 'And those who strive for us — (and those people who strive in our related paths, our related (paths)) — they strive — (we will certainly guide them to Our paths) — You are related to spirituality! — (the material world is separate from them) — what is the world separate from? — (those who make effort in spirituality) Allah will guide them to His paths — You remain with spirituality! — (those who make effort in spirituality) — Allah will guide them to His paths — He is about spirituality.'

In summary, the world is their form — the formless form — in it there is no form — ('Abd al-Qadir — "my definition" is not — "Allah, his definition is enough" — he said) — giving each thing its right — this means — I will say — Aman Illah Khan's son — He told the ten-year boy that Hazrat Qibla taught him: "Wa-idha batashtu batashtu jabbarin" — read — he grabbed and he held it on his hand — the people did not accept it — and the people would read and did not recite — (in the prayer condition sarkar would grab the clothes of praying person from the side) — after the prayer they would read from behind — Sarkar grabbed the side — in the prayer, Sarkar's reading grabbed — Sarkar in fact was the real presence — the one who grabbed was Abu al-Nasr Sahib.'

'Giving Each Thing Its Right'

'Giving each thing its right' — Hazrat said: 'My amazement begins — Aman Illah Khan's son — he held firm the boy — Hazrat Qibla taught — "wa-idha batashtu batashtu jabbarin" — he held firm by hand — people say they would not accept — and people would read — there is no enthusiasm — (the Shaykh's word — says something so extraordinary that although they were writing Surat al-Fatiha four times, he hid it four times — yet what was the result?) — every Muslim child should learn these four things.'

"Undoubtedly in you is the Best Example" — The Qur'an and Naqshbandi

لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ

(Surah al-Ahzab 33:21) — 'Certainly you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example (to follow).' Their teaching is complete — they used to do it — their (teaching) completes things from all — but some people know more than all of them — some people see from kashf — (they would say to 'Abd al-Qadir (the Ghawth Pak)) — "Ya Rasul Allah" — (i.e. Ghawth al-Waqt) — they said — because to Sarkar every thing is its right — (and Ghawth Pak's attention also works — large shaykhs not present) — they also use attention — (which disperses and then comes, the influential) — attention is also needed in Naqshbandiyya — Qadiriyya — men also sometimes run away in attention — the dead would also be frightened.

Topic: The Bondage of Life — Mi'raj

"Life's Bondage" — Hazrat said: 'We keep you in the cage — we are free — we say La Ilaha — I am a servant — in the intoxication of tawhid — I blow comfort — I am used to it — I settle worldly things and discomforts — do not like them — let them be — it works too — they are even the young ones — in intoxication they remain — young people — where do they stay? — they want everything from the world — what is our world? — you, what is your aim? — something suited to the nature occurs — the heart is pleased — and you are pleased — happiness also comes?'
