مجالسِ جنوری ۱۹۶۰ — حصہ دوم

19 January 1960 (Saturday / 19 Rajab 1379 AH)

Topics 160–161: Peer Abu al-Nasr Sahib's Story; Every Worker and Every Man

Topic 160 — (Peer Abu al-Nasr Sahib was staying in Hyderabad). Peer Sahib was a very old and revered figure of the Ghawth Pak's family — he had a woman disciple of Hazrat Qibla named Begum 'Awshiya. They came and asked: 'Who are you? Why have you come?' (Peer Sahib preferred solitude and privacy.) 'I have come to see the qadroli — I am the friends of Allah's friend of Allah — you come.' — he said — 'I have come' — 'Gone, come like this — Hazrat, I am a poet of poetry! Abu al-Nasr Sahib says Listen' — then he recited:

ایک درشن ترا مجھے کافی میرے درشن میں کس کا نہیں درشن مجھ کو حاجت نہیں ہے کسی شے کی مجھے کافی ہیں خواجہ میاں کے چرن

(One vision of you is enough for me — in my vision no other vision exists. I need nothing — the feet of Khwaja Mian are enough for me.)

Topic 161 — "Every worker and every man" — Hazrat said: 'Every worker — the Qari (reciter of Qur'an) has Bukhari — has no Sab'a qira'at (the seven canonical readings) — the Rasul Allah, peace be upon him, has teaching — this is our thing — our everything has — until its death, its sword, this is the tradition — that is "'an fulan 'an fulan" — people have no enthusiasm, no eagerness for some thing.'

'I tell people things — these hadith prove it — let me prove it from Bukhari — his wives... from Bukhari prove — from qira'at — how will I find them? In the books of qira'at there are copies of hadith — how would the reading be found? — and this very faqiri — this chain is only continued in faqiri — how will it be found? — every worker and every man.'

21 January 1960 (Wednesday / 21 Rajab 1379 AH)

Topic 161 continued: Every Worker and Every Man

Hazrat said: 'Every Qari has no Bukhari, has no Sab'a qira'at... every man.'

Topic 162: Hazrat's System of Presence — a Remembrance

"Hazrat's System of Presence — a Remembrance" — Hazrat said: 'Pirzadah Najm al-Din Sahib (a high official of Hazrat's household): "Please call me" — (he wanted him to be called), "I cannot stay here more days — here I cannot manage" — Maulana 'Abd al-Qadir Siddiqui's are — they who answered and whose thoughts and ideas are mine.'

"The Shi'a's Denial of the Four Things" — Hazrat said: 'The wrestler (Muhammad Yusuf Pahlwan, servant, disciple) — four things were taught to him: (1) one thing is that they say of Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Abu Bakr and Hazrat 'Umar to "O Commander of the Faithful" — who say this — they are lying — they do it as a show — (meaning they say it mockingly) — (2) From the Jews you ask — "Musa's companions how are they?" — they say "good" — from the Christians ask — "good" — from the Hindus ask — from the Krishn Chi companions — they say "good" — then what can a Muslim say that the Prophet, peace be upon him, the companions are not good? — all the companions good? — (3) The Prophet, peace be upon him, became 40 years in prophethood — transmitted at 63 years — 23 years in prophethood — who brought it? — Muqdaq Abuzar Ghaffari, Salman Farsi — one from among them — he said to them (these) — to me he said, "the truthful" — (he said) — Abu Bakr Siddiq — why did they become of Salman Farsi? — Because the Prophet, peace be upon him's — "(4) and this thing he taught the wrestler" — you bring the Qur'an from him — "that you heard the chain of Hazrat Ali" — you heard the tradition — if they don't believe the Qur'an by those Companions — where is the truth of the Qur'an? These things were all in them.'
