Topic 163: Murshid's Connection — An Account

Hazrat said: 'I am writing — but a boy opened it — a woman came (i.e., the murshid Khwaja Mian Sahib's murida) — in that time who was the Ghawth and he who had more than 90 years and had almost the same station — I wanted to speak about the answer to him — but this position of Hazrat Qibla — himself also would not be possible — but Hazrat Qibla — through the connection of the murshid he himself had taken his own training — his secret is this: that training by the hands of Allah Most High — He who is the manifestation of Allah comes — He too is the form of murshid. Therefore this is also correct by the word — that "since the age of 91 years they are training me." — I was reading but a boy opened it — a woman came — the murshid Khwaja Mian Sahib's murida — in that time he would narrate every year the silsila — he would give me three rupees — I would forget them — he said: "you are the haqq murshid" — he said: "Possibly (this is) — I mean — Hazrat Qibla (who is my murshid)."'

Hazrat also narrated about a woman murida: 'I was reading and a boy opened it — a woman came to the murshid Khwaja Mian Sahib's gathering. In his time in every year he would narrate the silsila. He gave me three rupees. I forgot them. He said: "You are the true murshid." He said: "Possibly (this is correct) — that is, Hazrat Qibla (who is my murshid)."'

Hazrat further said about books and good fortune: 'Books' goodness — a particular bookshop (near the bazaar) — there a judge comes every day (to read) — (to reach the qadi's rank) — without servants' worry, women's worry — 100 rupees salary and he remained in position and stayed 500 years [i.e. so long as a great blessing]. Teacher! — the disciple was good — they were also like this — my murshid was such — they would bring the food and place it before me — who fed us — the worry of eating, the worry of clothing — mine — they never worried.'

Hazrat then recited verses of yearning:

سب سے تم اچھے ہو تم سے مری قسمت اچھی یہی کم بخت دکھادیتی ہے صورت اچھی

(From all, you are best — from you my fortune is best — it is only the wretchedness that shows me a good image.)

'Murshid's Connection — an Account' — Hazrat said: 'I was reading — a boy opened it — a woman came — (that is, of the murshid Khwaja Mian Sahib's murida) — in this era, when the Ghawth's people and 90 years older to the same station — I wanted the answer — but this station of Hazrat Qibla — himself — it would also be possible — but Hazrat Qibla — through the connection of the murshid — himself has taken training — his secret is this: that training comes by Allah Most High's hands — He who is the manifestation of Allah comes — He too is the form of murshid — therefore this word is also correct that: "since 91 years they are giving me training."'

Hazrat also spoke about the connection between the Murshid and the Marida — the Shaykh reads the Qur'anic silsila passage to the woman disciple — giving her this passage of Hazrat's sitting.

"Hazrat Khwaja Mian's Remembrance" (Topic 164)

Hazrat said: 'Habib (the beloved) — how much to count the blessings of Khwaja Mian? Habib! These faqiris who come to do supplication — all of them — sit with your hand, keep (the hand) — is it possible to bring even water to Allah without His command?' — (Hazrat Khwaja Mian was the one whose faqiri kept them awake). 'Who is the friend of Allah — who comes to them?' — he said — 'I am the friends of Allah! I am a poet of poetry!' — Abu al-Nasr Sahib says — 'Listen!' then he recited:

ایک درشن ترا مجھے کافی میرے درشن میں کس کا نہیں درشن یہاں اللہ، یہیں رسول، سب یہیں مجھ کو حاجت نہیں ہے کسی شے کی مجھے کافی ہیں خواجہ میاں کے چرن

(One vision of you is enough for me — in my vision no other's vision is absent — here is Allah, here is the Messenger, all are here. I need nothing — the feet of Khwaja Mian are enough for me.)

Topic: Spiritual Power (Roohani Quwwat) — 2 February 1960 (Saturday / 3 Sha'ban 1379 AH)

"Spiritual Power" — Hazrat said: 'I am a poor man — the devil does not even strike me — the man came and he sat behind me — as I would sit and let go of Imam al-Illah — the man was of Aman Illah Khan (the son-in-law of Aman al-Illah Khan) — my related son — he asked about it — "So" — he said — he said: (they were saying the same — but without ordinary reason and different from rational thinking) — when it will happen — it will be this much — (he said — a man said: 'Shaykh's form of image — do not wander — do not think about others' images') — do not think in the form — that of others — not come — (i.e. the thoughts of other people do not come to me). Whoever has the form you can establish attachment of love and can be indifferent (from other images) — and they will be indifferent (to the seeker).

Hazrat recited verses of longing:

اے خیال رودئے جاناں مری جان تجھ پر قربان کیا بے نیاز تو نے مجھے فکر دو جہاں سے

(O thought of the flowing of my beloved's face — my life is a sacrifice for you! How free from need you have made me from the worry of the two worlds.)
