The book in your hands is a compilation of Hazrat Allama Muhammad Abdul Qadeer Siddiqui Hasrat (RH), former Professor of Hadith and Head of Theology Department, Osmania University, Hyderabad Deccan, authored in Urdu under the title "Ad-Deen" which was included in the syllabus of Osmania University. One part of it is the text and translation of Kitab al-Iman. This is an exposition and explanation of Hadith Jibril, wherein Islam and Ihsan are mentioned. Based on this, Bahrul Uloom (RH) authored this book, presenting first Kitab al-Ilm and then Iman, Islam, and Ihsan based on Quran and Ahadith, establishing that the Hanafi Madhhab entirely relies on the Quran and Sunnah. In Kitab al-Iman, the mutual connection between Iman and Islam and its branches have been illuminated from the Quran and Sunnah. The topic of Tawhid and the Transcendence of the Almighty has also been discussed. Proofs for love of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, obedience to Him, and Tawassul have been presented. Ahadith alluding to the caliphate of the Rightly Guided Caliphs (Khulafa-e-Rashideen) are also present. Reading this book not only strengthens Iman, but also reforms beliefs (Aqaa'id), which is extremely necessary in today's environment. The book Ad-Deen with translation and explanations was published serially in the monthly magazine 'Al-Qadeer' during the lifetime of Bahrul Uloom (RH). All this material was gathered and provided to us by Mr. Abul Mujahid Syed Ahmed Khairuddin Qadri, for which the administration of Hasrat Academy is grateful to him. May Allah grant him the best reward. Ameen. We pray to Allah Almighty that this book of Bahrul Uloom (RH) gains special and general acceptance and that the ranks of Bahrul Uloom (RH) be elevated with Allah. Ameen, thumma ameen, bi jah-i Sayyid al-Mursaleen.
