بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

1:1

الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

تعریف اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے جو تمام عالموں کی پرورش کرنے والا ہے۔

All praise is for Allah, who is the Sustainer (Nourisher) of all the worlds.

1:2

الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

جو رحمٰن و رحیم ہے۔

Who is the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

1:3

مٰلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ

روز جزا کا مالک ہے۔

The Master of the Day of Recompense.

1:4

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ

ہم (تیری ہی بندگی کرتے ہیں) تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں اور تجھ ہی سے مدد طلب کرتے ہیں۔

You alone we worship (we serve only You) and from You alone we seek help.

1:5

اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ

ہم کو سیدھی راہ چلا۔

Guide us to the straight path.

1:6

صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ

ان لوگوں کا راستہ جن پر تو نے انعام کیا۔

The path of those upon whom You have bestowed Your favour.

1:7

غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّآلِّينَ

نہ راستہ ان لوگوں کا جن پر غضب کیا گیا اور نہ راستہ گمراہوں کا۔

Not the path of those upon whom wrath has been brought down, nor of those who have gone astray.
