بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

106:1

لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ

قریش کے باہمی اتفاق و الفت کی وجہ سے (تو خدا کی بندگی کرو، اس کا احسان مانو)۔

For the [customary] unity and familiarity of the Quraysh (so worship God and acknowledge His favour).

106:2

إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ

ان کے (قریش کے) باہمی اتحاد و الفت کی وجہ سے سرما اور گرما کے موسم میں تجارت کا سامان لانے لیجانے میں (اور توانگر وخوشحال ہونے پر تو اس کا شکریہ ادا کرو)۔

Their [the Quraysh's] [customary] journey in winter and summer [for trade], thanks to their [mutual] unity and prosperity (and for making them prosperous, give thanks to Him).

106:3

فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ

لوگوں کو چاہیے کہ اس بیت اللہ شریف کے پروردگار کی عبادت کریں، بندگی کریں۔

So let them worship the Lord of this House [the Kaʿba], and be His servants.

106:4

الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُمْ مِنْ جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُمْ مِنْ خَوْفٍ

(کیسا خدا؟) جس نے ان کو کھلایا بھوک سے اور ان کو (دشمنوں کے شر سے اور ان کے) خوف سے امن دیا۔

Who has fed them [and saved them] from hunger, and made them safe from fear [of their enemies].
