بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

99:1

إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا

(۱) خیال رکھو جب ساری زمین کو زلزلہ ہوگا۔

(1) Bear in mind — when the earth is shaken with its (full, devastating) earthquake.

99:2

وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا

(۲) اور زمین (اپنے اندر سے) اپنے بوجھے خارج کرے گی، نکالے گی۔

(2) And the earth casts out its burdens (from within itself).

99:3

وَقَالَ الْإِنسَانُ مَا لَهَا

(۳) اور جب ہر شخص (زلزلے سے حیران و پریشان ہوکر) کہہ اٹھے گا کہ زمین کو یہ ہوکیا گیا؟

(3) And when every person (bewildered and distressed by the earthquake) cries out, 'What has happened to the earth?'

99:4

يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا

(۴) اس دن (یعنی قیامت کے دن) زمین اپنی ساری سرگزشت بیان کردے گی۔

(4) On that day (the Day of Judgement) the earth will narrate all its history.

99:5

بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا

(۵) اس وجہ سے کہ تمہارے رب نے زمین کو (بیان کرنے کا) حکم دیا تھا۔

(5) Because your Lord commanded the earth (to narrate).

99:6

يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ

(۶) قیامت کے دن جب لوگ پھریں گے تو مختلف (فرقوں میں سے) ہوں گے تاکہ ان کے اعمال دکھادیئے جائیں (ان کے جیسے اعمال ہوں گے ان کے دیئے جائیں گے)۔

(6) On the Day of Judgement when people set out they will be in different groups so that their deeds may be shown to them (they will be given what corresponds to their deeds).

99:7

فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ

(۷) پھر جو شخص ذرہ بھر نیکی کرے گا (وہ ہرگز ضائع نہیں جائے گی) وہ اس کو دیکھے گا (پائے گا)۔

(7) And whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it (it will never be wasted).

99:8

وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ

(۸) اور جو ذرہ بھر برائی کرے گا، وہ بھی اپنے اعمال کو دیکھے گا۔

(8) And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it too.
