بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

101:1

الْقَارِعَةُ

(۲ و ۱) قارعہ! وہ قارعہ کیا چیز ہے؟

(1 and 2) The Striker! What is the Striker?

101:2

مَا الْقَارِعَةُ

(۲ و ۱) قارعہ! وہ قارعہ کیا چیز ہے؟

101:3

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ

(۳) اور تمہیں کیا معلوم وہ قارعہ کیا ہے!

(3) And what will make you know what the Striker is!

101:4

يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ

(۴) اس دن لوگ (ایسے تتر اور ٹکڑے ٹکڑے لکڑے) ہوں گے جیسے پھیلے ہوئے پتنگے، (پروانے، اڑتلو)۔

(4) On that day people will be (scattered and broken apart) like swarms of scattered moths (butterflies, fluttering).

101:5

وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنفُوشِ

(۵) اور پہاڑ ایسے ہوجائیں گے جیسے دھنکا ہوا اون (اس سے نرادی روز قیامت ہے)۔

(5) And the mountains will become like carded wool (this is the softness and fluidity of the Day of Judgement).

101:6

فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ

(۶) پھر جس کے تولے ہوئے اعمال بھاری پڑیں (جس کا پلہ بھاری ہو)۔

(6) As for the one whose scales (of deeds) are heavy.

101:7

فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ

(۷) پھر وہ مانے عیش و عشرت میں ہوگا۔

(7) He will be in a pleasing, contented life.

101:8

وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ

(۸) اور مگر جس کے تولے ہوئے اعمال ہلکے ہوں گے (جس کے اعمال کا پلہ ہلکا ہو)۔

(8) But as for the one whose scales (of deeds) are light.

101:9

فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ

(۹) تو اس کی جگہ ہاویہ ہے۔

(9) His abode will be the Abyss (Hāwiya).

101:10

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ

(۱۰) اور تمہیں کیا معلوم وہ (ہاویہ) کیا ہے؟

(10) And what will make you know what it (the Hāwiya) is?

101:11

نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ

(۱۱) (دوزخ ہاویہ، دوزخ کی) بھڑکتی آگ ہے۔

(11) A blazing fire (it is Hell, the Hāwiya — the blazing fire of Hell).
