بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

87:1

سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى

(۱) (اے پیغمبر!) تم اپنے عالی شان رب کے نام کی پاکیزگی بیان کرو (کہ وہ عیبوں اور نقائص سے مبرّا اور پاک ہے)۔

(1) (O Prophet!) Declare the glory of your Most High Lord's name (for He is far above all faults and deficiencies and is pure).

87:2

الَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّى

(۲) جس نے پیدا کیا اور درست پیدا کیا۔

(2) Who created and then fashioned in proper proportion.

87:3

وَالَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَى

(۳) اور جس نے اندازہ فرمایا (تقدیر کی، مقدر کیا) پھر ہدایت دی۔

(3) And Who determined (ordained destiny and measured out) then guided.

87:4

وَالَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الْمَرْعَى

(۴) اور جس نے چارہ بھی پیدا کیا۔

(4) And Who brought forth the herbage.

87:5

فَجَعَلَهُ غُثَاءً أَحْوَى

(۵) پھر اس (چارہ) کو سیاہ کوڑا کرکٹ بنادیا۔

(5) Then turned it into black, dry debris.

87:6

سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَى

(۶) (اے پیغمبر!) عنقریب ہم تم کو پڑھاپیں گے پھر تم نہ بھولو گے مگر جو خدا چاہے۔

(6) (O Prophet!) Soon We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) and you shall not forget, except what Allah wills.

87:7

إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ إِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَى

(۷) یقیناً وہ خوب جانتا ہے (اس کو علم ہے) جو کچھ پکارکر پڑھو یا آہستہ پڑھو۔

(7) Indeed He knows well (He is aware of) whatever you recite aloud and whatever you recite quietly.

87:8

وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَى

(۸) اور ہم تم پر احکام شریعت کو آسان کردیں گے (جو حقیقتاً دشوار نہیں ہیں)۔

(8) And We will make easy for you the easy way (the rulings of the Sharīʿa, which are not truly difficult).

87:9

فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ الذِّكْرَى

(۹) (حبیب!) پس تم یادد ہانی کرو، (اپنی طرف سے) نصیحت تو کرو) اگر یہ یادد ہانی نفع بخش ہو (مفید ہو، نافع ہو) ۔ اگر یہ ظالم نہ مانیں تو کیا کروگے؟

(9) (O Beloved!) So give the reminder (offer admonition from your side) — if the reminder is beneficial (if it will be useful and profitable). If these wrongdoers do not accept, then what can you do?
