بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

111:1

تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ

ابولہب کی ہر طرح کی کوشش ناکام رہی اور خود بھی برباد ہوا۔

May the hands of Abū Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he — his every effort came to nothing and he himself was destroyed.

111:2

مَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ

اس کو اس کے مال نے کچھ فائدہ دیا اور نہ اس کی کمائی نے۔

His wealth availed him nothing, nor what he earned.

111:3

سَيَصْلَى نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ

عنقریب شعلہ زن آگ میں داخل ہوگا۔

He will soon enter a blazing, flame-filled Fire.

111:4

وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ

اور (ابولہب کے ساتھ شعلہ زن آگ میں) اس کی شر انگیز عورت بھی داخل ہوگی۔

And his [mischief-stirring] wife [will also enter the blazing Fire alongside Abū Lahab].

111:5

فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِنْ مَسَدٍ

اس کے گلے میں نارے کی رسّی (اس کی شرارت اس کے گلے کا ہار)۔

Around her neck [will be] a rope of palm fibre [her mischief is her own necklace].
