بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

114:1

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ

تم کہو۔ میں پناہ لیتا ہوں لوگوں کے پروردگار کی (سب کے پالنے والے کی)۔

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind (the Sustainer of all people).

114:2

مَلِكِ النَّاسِ

(جو) لوگوں کا بادشاہ (ہے) (حاکم علی الاطلاق ہے)۔

The King of mankind (the Absolute Sovereign).

114:3

إِلَهِ النَّاسِ

تمام لوگوں کا معبود (سب کا خدا)۔

The God of mankind (the God of all).

114:4

مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ

شر سے وسوسے ڈال کر چھپ جانے والے کے۔

From the evil of the slinking whisperer [who whispers insinuations and then hides].

114:5

الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ

جو لوگوں کے (یا غافلوں کے) سینوں میں وسوسے ڈالتا ہے۔

Who whispers into the chests of people (or the heedless).

114:6

مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ

وہ جنوں میں سے بھی ہیں اور آدمیوں سے بھی۔
