109. Al-Kāfirūn

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

109:1

قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ

(اے خدا کے رسول) تم (صاف صاف) کہہ دو! اے کافرو!

Say [O Messenger of Allah, clearly and plainly]: O you disbelievers!

109:2

لَا أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ

جن (بتوں) کی تم پوجا کرتے ہو میں ان کی پوجا نہیں کرتا۔

I do not worship what you worship [those idols you bow before].

109:3

وَلَا أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ

اور تم اس معبود کی عبادت کرنے والے نہیں ہو جس کی میں عبادت کرتا ہوں۔

And you are not worshippers of what I worship.

109:4

وَلَا أَنَا عَابِدٌ مَا عَبَدْتُمْ

اور تم جس طرح پوجا کرتے ہو میں نہیں کرسکتا۔

And I am not a worshipper in the manner in which you worship.

109:5

وَلَا أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ

اور نہ تم عبادت کرنے والے ہو جیسا کہ میں عبادت کرتا ہوں۔

And you are not [going to be] worshippers in the way that I worship.

109:6

لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ

تم کو تمہاری (بت پرستی کی) سزا ہوگی (اعمال بد کا بدلہ ملے گا) اور مجھ کو میری (خداپرستی اور نیک اعمال کی) جزا ملے گی۔

For you is your [idolatrous] way (you will be recompensed for your evil deeds) and for me is my [way of worshipping God and doing righteous deeds; I will receive its reward].
