بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

86:1

وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ

(۱) آسمان اور رات کو آنے والا شہادت دے گا (یان کی قسم کھاتا ہوں)۔

(1) By the sky and the night-visitor (I swear, as a witness).

86:2

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الطَّارِقُ

(۲) اور تمہیں کیا معلوم کہ رات کو آنے والا کیا ہے؟

(2) And what will make you know what the night-visitor is?

86:3

النَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُ

(۳) (وہ رات کو آنے والا) چمکتا تارہ ہے۔

(3) (The night-visitor is) the piercing, bright star.

86:4

إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ

(۴) کوئی شخص ایسا نہیں ہے کہ اس پر (خدا کی طرف سے) کوئی نگہبان اور نگران نہ ہو۔

(4) There is no person but that over him (from Allah's side) there is a guardian and watchman.

86:5

فَلْيَنظُرِ الْإِنسَانُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ

(۵) پس انسان کو نظر (ڈھر) کرنی چاہیے کہ وہ کس چیز سے پیدا ہوا ۔

(5) So let man consider what he was created from.

86:6

خُلِقَ مِن مَّاءٍ دَافِقٍ

(۶) وہ ایک کودنے والے پانی سے پیدا کیا گیا ہے۔

(6) He was created from a gushing fluid (spurting water).

86:7

يَخْرُجُ مِن بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ

(۷) وہ (نطفہ باپ کی) پیٹھ (اور) (ماں کی) پنجریوں میں سے نکلتا ہے۔

(7) It comes from between the backbone (of the father) and the ribs (of the mother).

86:8

إِنَّهُ عَلَى رَجْعِهِ لَقَادِرٌ

(۸) بے شک وہ (خدا) انسان کو دوبارہ پیدا کرنے پر قادر ہے۔

(8) Indeed He (Allah) is certainly able to bring him back (to life again).

86:9

يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَائِرُ

(۹) جس دن پوشیدہ رازظاہر ہوجائیں گے۔

(9) On the day when hidden secrets will be laid bare.
